45 – 60minutes in our luxury cold and hot recovery protocols these can be used separately or together to aid muscle recovery and relieve fatigue. If you want to get the most out of your body or even each yoga or ZenFIT session, then it’s important to give your body the opportunity to recover – so why not do it like the body Loves!
The Recovery Room’s luxury cold plunge and hot premium infratred sauna can be used separately or in an alternating manner to aid muscle recovery and relieve fatigue,relaxation, health and mental wellness.
The Recovery Room’s state-of-the-art cooling and Heating System can maintain each at the exact temperature required to optimise recovery.
You can recover solo or choose to share your experience with your partner or friend.
We cater to men and women of all ages who use our recovery room for many different health and mental health reasons, along with simply relaxing.
You will have your own reason for visiting Zen’s Recovery Room, whether it be relaxation, muscle pain relief, mental health, immune system boost, or detoxing. We are here to help with your healing journey.

Starting on the hour, please arrive 5 minutes early
We recommend you do apply oil to you body before your sauna session if looking to lock in deep moisture. This is an Ayurvedic practice
Hydration is key, not only with water but a good source of electrolytes. Bring a bottle or drink the filtered water provided at Zen
Wear loose fitting clothes – you’ll be sweaty after

Aromatherapy oils
Sauna use increases both body temperature and heart rate, we recommend that you drink water during your session as it will help your body with regulating its temperature. If you start feeling faint during your session, then remove yourself from the sauna and alert a staff member.
Following your session its important not a shower afterwards and to wear loose clothing and replace lost body fluids as rapidly as possible, so make sure you pay a visit to the Zenlife tea Hydration Station.
The Recovery Rooms sessions are for 60min. If you’re focus is recovery, particularly from damage, and you’re using the Infrared Sauna in combination with other modes of recovery, such as Cold Therapy!
To compliment the physical recovery being taken care of by the Infrared Sauna, we recommend that you also complete some mental recovery during your session. To do this, to use the blue and green light therapy to aid for alertness in the body or the red light therapy to aid in calming down and getting the body ready for the end of the day maybe even drop in some aromatherapy oils like lavender at the end of the night or some peppermint during the day.
The Bluetooth available in the sauna will allow you to shut out the distractions of the modern world and meditate or listen to relaxing music for the duration of your session.
